Christmas Music – David Hart interview – In the Heat of the Night.wmv – 20th Anniversary Christmas Time’s A Comin’ CD featuring “In the Heat of the Night” Cast and Friends Actor David Hart portrayed “Parker Williams” on TV’s “In the Heat of the Night.” Here he is featured from a 1991 interview about singing “Let It Snow” as part of the “Christmas Time’s A Comin'” CD featuring the “In the Heat of the Night” Cast and Friends. Hart also performed the song while appearing in the 1991 Christmas Parade in Atlanta, Ga. Randall Franks (randallfranks.com) and his In the Heat of the Night co-star Alan Autry (autryentertainmentgroup.com) joined forces under the banner of Autry-Franks Productions in 1990 to produce the charity In the Heat of the Night CD Christmas Time’s A Comin’ featuring the cast of the show. Included here are vintage interviews about the project and never before seen in-studio footage also including Carroll O’Connor, Geoffrey Thorne, Wilbur Fitzgerald, Bob Penny, and Sharon Pratt in addition to Hart, Franks and Autry. “Let It Snow” includes the talents of Country Music Hall of Fame member Hargus “Pig” Robbins on piano and Jerry Douglas on Dobro ® among other talented musicians. The project raised funds for drug abuse prevention charities throughout the United States.
